Q. I selected low quality. Why do my images still take so long to upload? A. When you upload a new image and you don't select resize, it gets uploaded to our servers just like it is on your computer. The quality is set when you or someone else views the image. If you want your images to upload to our servers faster you may want to scale them down in width and height before you upload them. If you intend to use auction gallery, there is no need for any image to be over 640 pixels wide in size, as this is the maximum we allow.
Q. How can I upload full size images? A. You can upload full size images by unchecking the resize button on the image upload page. Please note, this will use a lot of your web space, and bandwidth when viewed. The bigger the images, the more will get used. Consider why you would need full size images.
Q. How can I make my images upload faster? A. If your images are large, scale them down in size with an image editing program before you upload them. Most images will view correctly when only 640 or 800 pixels wide.
Q. How many folders can I have? A. You can have an unlimited amount of folders with unlimited images within a folder. To keep things organized, try not to put to many images into one folder.
Q. How can I unsubscribe? A. You can easily unsubscribe by going to Account/Preferences and clicking the unsubscribe button. Your account will be closed and you will be taken to paypal to cancel your subscription with us.
Q. Why are my images renamed? A. If your filenames on your images are too long they are shortened when uploading them. If you have already uploaded a file with the same name as the one you are currently uploading we assign a 4 digit number to the beginning of your file so that you don't over-write the file that you uploaded before.
Q. What type of files can I host? A. You can host JPG, GIF and PNG files only.
Q. Why would I get a PayPal part month invoice? A. If you where on the Bronze plan for example, and you upgraded to Gold when you where only 5 days into the month. You would not get charged at the time of upgrade when you alter your PayPal subscription. So we may send an invoice for the remainder of the month (based on a 30 period) It would be £2.99 divided by 30 (days) multiple by the 25 days left to go which would be £2.49 As you would of already paid the £0.99 this is taken off the £2.49 so an invoice of £1.50 is sent.
Q. Can I down grade? A. Yes you can, but we will not refund any fees paid for that month unless you have not used any bandwidth during that month.
Q. What sizes are used for images? A. Gallery images are 640 pixels wide and can open to a supersize of 2048 pixels. If original image is at least 2048 or more.
Slide show is 640 pixels wide, again original must be 640 or more
Port folio opens to the size you have originally uploaded.
Q. How to put my gallery in ebay A. Create your gallery from a folder, then copy the ebay compatible code. Edit your item in ebay, then first in standard mode, enter your text about your item. Then click the HTML button in ebay, go to the top of this box where you have put the description, and paste your auction code. Continue with the rest of your auction editing. Please do not reselect standard mode when you have put the gallery code in, as ebay seems to mess this up and your gallery wont work. Click continue within ebay to progress.
